filter by device

You can, but it isn't exposed when you visit the store's front page at https://apps.garmin.com/.

- If you open the store using Garmin Express (which I personally almost never do, except for dev / backup-related reasons, since it's so slow), then the filtered list for your device will be shown

- If you do a google search, you might be able to find the filtered link to the store for your given app.

e.g. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=connect+iq+935+apps

https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/devices/forerunner935/apps?sortType=mostPopular

Once you have this link, you might be able to guess the links for some other devices.

I agree that it's too bad they removed this option from the front page of the website as most people will be unaware that it still (or ever) existed. (I had no idea that the device-specific links worked, nor that Garmin Express opens the correct one for your device. It's pretty ridiculous that you have to connect your device to your PC just to have the option in Garmin Express to open the store, as waiting for a device to go into mass storage mode is pretty slow, too)

It's also too bad that there's probably no way to access this filter in the Garmin Connect or Connect IQ mobile apps. EDIT: Wrong again haha. I should probably test these things before posting.

The Connect IQ app for mobile devices will filter by device, but won’t show you what’s new or all apps for all devices. 
I keep preciously bookmerked my direct url for my f5x+ apps.garmin.com/.../apps

With the Connect IQ app, when you are on the device page, if you do a search, you can filter by app type. most popular, most recent, etc.
