Overriding watchface language

After many requests, I started to add support to my watch face for languages other than English. To my surprise, I've had users want to stay with the English version even though they have their watch set to a different language.

Is there a way to add a watchface setting to force a language?

Or are there any solutions that does not involve uploading an English-only version?

What you can do is have the english strings hard coded in your app, and have a setting if the the app should use the strings in the resources instead.

Hardcoding + extra setting is indeed the way to go.

As far as the actual localisation be aware of this garmin express bug if you do only partial translation forums.garmin.com/.../garmin-express-does-not-implement-fallback-to-default-language-english-resources
