sharing beta version app to somebody else

Is it possible to share the beta version of software to someone else besides me (for testing on another device type that I do not have)? I know about error on this type device and this error doesn't occuur on simulator and my friend has this type. I don't want to put testing version in store for everybody.
The simple sollution it's to send him the link for beta app but I'm not sure if it run.

I think a good middle-ground solution here would be to have apps which are only accessible by direct URL (like unlisted videos on youtube.) That way you could just send the URL to any interested testers…

Yes, you can just email a sideload, but if you do that, they can't use app settings

If you send a debug build, and your looking at a crash, you'll get a nice stack trace in the ciq_log file.

how to install this file on watch? puting it directl into Garmin's storage?

Yep, they will have to "sideload" the app by copying it to their device.

Use "Build for Device" to build the debug PRG for their device and send it to them (e.g. by email).
Then they have to copy it to \Garmin\Apps on the device storage.
If they have a Mac and a watch that supports music, they will need to install this first:https://www.android.com/filetransfer/
If Garmin Express is running, they should close it first.

It's very important to testing to add functionality sharing beta app to specified users.

Asking complete stranger person and wasting his/her time for punting manually PRG into devise (especially if she is not fluent in computers) it's very difficult for me.

My app's working well on sim and errors often happens on device often on one special device.

I don't think it's big challenge to write this:

- go to developer dashboard and enter into beta version app

- add user (somebody give it) - if it's necessary to limit person or

- generate link to app - if no user limit link for 24 hours for example

I am sure it has been discussed here before but here are the two things that I have seen other developers do —

1) Post the app with an unappealing or non-descriptive name under a different account and point users to it.

2) If it is a data field or watch face with settings, post it with a name that makes it clear it is a beta and put notes in the description that it will not work for anyone without a special code. Then use an unlock code to enable it for the users similar to the way that devs who require payment to unlock functionality do, except only give the unlock code to those you are inviting to beta test.
