It works on Linux with the latest SDK manager 1.0.1

Last year I tried to work with SDK 3.1.9 on Fedora 31 and it succeed. But SDK manager 1.0.0 doesn't work and couldn't download the new SDK 3.2.3 and devices, So it failed in SDK 3.2.3 on Linux.

Recently I noticed that GARMIN released a new SDK manager 1.0.1,I hold a try mood, install it and incredibly it works. That's great!

Of course there are some bugs:

1) It couldn't get the weather on Linux.

2) Running datafield might cause crash in the simulator.

Hope it only exists in simulator and doesn't exist in the real devices. Hope GARMIN to check it. Then it would be perfect.

  • For me the old manager was already downloading the devices and SDK. But I couldn't do anything due to null pointer exceptions and had to use SDK 3.1.9. Now, I tried again in my freshly installed Kubuntu 21 and it seems the same...
