Using visual studio - no devices found

Hi,

Thought I'd try building an app to get up to speed on VS.

Loaded a github project into a workspace and verified install is correct using command.

Tried a build and it said no devices available.

SDK manager opens fine. Path for SDK doesn't contain spaces ..

Command Edit Project/Products says manifest is in wrong format (builds fine in eclipse)

Guidance welcome.

Hi,

The problem was that Visual Studio uses a newer version of the xml file than Eclipse which meant the project details weren't being picked up properly when I added an existing project. New projects obviously work fine. Suggest when we make the move that the XML files are auto-converted to manifest version 3.

The visual studio version looks like this...

<?xml version="1.0"?>

<iq:manifest version="3" xmlns:iq="">www.garmin.com/.../connectiq">

Eclipse looks like ..

<iq:manifest xmlns:iq="">www.garmin.com/.../connectiq" version="1">
