Anyone with macos successfully running VSCode?

My VSCode environment is configured. I can build apps, but when I try and run them all I get is a blank Simulator window (yes, I have tried running twice - more than once).

My Eclipse environment is running flawlessly. Well, except for ERA where I have to delete and re-enter my developer credentials everytime (I logged a BUG for this some time ago).

VSCode is currently pointing to my Eclipse Workspace.

I am on macos v10.15.7

VSCode v1.50.1 (Connect IQ extension v0.1.2)

Connect IQ SDK v3.2.3

Java version 1.8.0_152

I'm particularly interested in anyone who has VSCode working AND has a different version of Java running on their MAC.

I have the same versions as you for MacOS, SDK, Java, and VS Code and when I install the extension from the store I am able to run apps. This is something we're aware of and are looking into it.

Do you have any security software installed?

I am also a Mac developer but have missed the announcement about CIQ development moving from Eclipse to VSCode. Could you provide a link to the announcement please?

It was announced at the Developer Conference last week. It's for VS Code, and you need to install Garmin's VS Code extension. There's also a 3.2.3 SDK. If you want to keep using 3.2.3 with Eclipse, you need the new 3.2.3 Eclipse Plug in.

VS Code with CIQ was announced. Per DCR, the videos from the Conference will be posted next week. Until then, no need to rush to VS Code, as Eclipse will be fine for a while..

I'm glad you can reproduce it Kyle. That's great. BTW, I don't have any security software installed on the Mac, not even virus "protection".
