Failed to load Error: -1001

Hi Forum,

I am doing a simple widget which will get json data from server and display it (house status).

However, I am getting "Failed to load Error: -1001" and am unable to find any error code docs anywhere.

Looking at HTML traffic the data is received.

I am total newbie so pardon any stupid questions but could somebody point me to relevant documentation?

It's in the API doc for Communications.

SECURE_CONNECTION_REQUIRED	-1001 Indicates an https connection is required for the request.

In the sim, you can try things by unchecking Settings>Use Device HTTPS requirements, but on a real device, you may only be able to use http with "localhost" (your phone)

Thank you. In the simulator it works now.

It is obvious I need to read the manuals more carefully.
