VS Code: Export project

anyone figured out how to export your iq file in vs code yet? Whenever i go to command pallete, then connectiq:export project it asks me to select a folder. i assume that is the folder i want to place the .iq file but not 100% sure. anyhow, even if i select the project root folder, i get a the following error. Even on a new project. Not using a barrel and the manifest just has the default <iq:barrels></iq:barrels> or <iq:barrels/> tag

Barrel build failed: Invalid manifest file: Bad manifest file. Missing the iq:barrel tag

tried putting an empty iq:barrel inside of iq:barrels but still no joy

We just pushed up 0.1.1 to fix this issue. Sorry about that!

got the update, and the error is gone. but not seeing any build activity. what folder are we supposed to be selecting when it pops up the select folder menu?

tools should help solve an issue, not get in the way.

going back to eclipse since it works

Thanks, for me export worked now ok with 0.1.1 :)

You do realise this is early beta, with limited functionality and obviously there will be bugs?

100% and i like vs code much better than eclipse so appreciate that garmin is moving toward it.. but being that it is beta, and i don't have time to fuss with it, i'm going back to eclipse. cheers!

I'll certainly use Eclipse for some time too, I need unit tests and device settings etc, so i cannot switch yet. But I'll keep testing the features to squash the bugs :)
