Hi, I went through the SDK documentation but am still puzzled about some basic thigs (maybe I overlooked some of it, feel free to shout at me if I did!)
- Where do I find a description of how to get app settings / preferences I want to make available to the user via the iOS/Android Connect / Connect IQ apps..?
I can create projects with settings, but they don't show up in those Garmin apps when I sideload to my watch/
(The same applies to making watchface customizable available right on the watch via left center button long-click - is that something Garmin reserves for themselves..?) - Is there more info on the app icon that should show up in Garmin's app when I sideload my app?
- Is there any documentation on that simulator..? Most of it is self-explanatory, but some functionality still puzzles me
I wish there were generally more API use examples in the SDK, I find it pretty painful which is a shame given how organized it looks on the surface.
The sample projects are useful, and I did find answers to some of my issues there, but I would have thought that the documentation makes those things clear before I have to snoop around in other projects. I'm also sometimes not clear if a sensor an API is for applies to the watch or to some device connected via Bluetooth, pretty confusing in my opinion.
