Garmin Venu / VIRB Remote

I borrowed my brother's Virb Camera since I'm headed down to Northwest Arkansas to mountain bike. I was very surprised to not see an app available in the App Store to turn the camera on/off. Is there a workaround? Thanks a bunch

The vivoactive 3 and 3 music have a native widget to control the VIRB camera. It appears that feature was removed from the Vivoactive 4 and the Venu.

ConnectIQ does not give developers access to control the VIRB camera which is why you can't find any apps.
