Is it possible to connect an HC06 bluetooth module to interact with an arduino ?

I would like to interact with my garmin 1000 and an arduino to create a new application on my garmin, but I need to read information on my garmin 1000 from the arduino through a HC06 module. So is ti possible ? is there an example ? Thanks

Not sure if the 1000 will get CIQ BLE support (you mean the edge 1000?) but I've been using raspberry pi devices for some time now:

and I think others have used an arduino.

Another option may be to set up the arduino web server and interface to it that way

The edge 1000 is done with any more CIQ updates and will stay at CIQ 2.4. That means there is no way it will ever support connecting to BLE sensors of any type.
