I have an app aimed at... well... everything. (Except Epix.)
It has, of necessity, different settings for CIQ1 and CIQ2+ which I manage via monkey.jungle and appending a "ciq1additions" directory to resourcePath. What this does when I build for release is append the properties and settings defined in ciq1additions onto the end of all the rest.
This works.
What used to work but doesn't any more was that when I was testing in the simulator, the settings editor used to reflect the device I was testing - eg: if I tested an FR235, I would see CIQ1 settings. If I was testing an FR735xt, I would see CIQ2+ settings.
Is this a bug, or is it a feature?
If it is a feature, how can I verify my device specific settings given that I am not fortunate enough to have access to multiple Garmin devices?
