onExitSleep after gesture on Vivoactive 4 not working

Hi,

I am working on watchface, with some functions activated by wrist gesture. Garmin watches, when presenting any watchface, are usually in sleep mode and when user makes wrist gesture watch is exiting sleep mode ( onExitSleep method is called) and stays in this mode for about 10 sec. (then onEnterSleep method is called).

It works well for almost all devices beside Vivoactive 4 - users are describing that the backlight is activated, but watchface stays in sleep mode.

Aby ideas how to resolve it ?

If it's not working, it would be a firmware problem, and the best thing to do would be file a bug reports, including things like the firm ware version, and maybe include a simple sample to reproduce it (possibly a WF that just shows if you are in high or low power)

There has already been a ticket about this,

We just have to wait, this behavior also happens on legacy series,

Ive found a trick: ask to the users to press twice slowly the bottom right button, it seems to call the onExitSleep.

Thanks, I know the trick - some users have found it.
I could not find such ticket on this site - maybe it is hidden under another description.
