Create a test fit file

For my little app, it will be a lot easier if I was able to simulate my own data set.

I was thinking of converting a .fit to .csv (to find the file format), put my own edit, and save back into a .fit file.

Unfortunately, I can't find a converter app that is working with my fit file.

Any advice will be welcome

Try to install and use the fitsdk

With this it's possible to convert .fit<-->.csv

I have that SDK downloaded, but I can only go fit to csv, how do you go the other way?

4 Using FitCSVTool
The FitCSVTool is a java command line utility that converts FIT information stored in csv files, to binary FIT files, and vice versa. The usage is described below:
FIT CSV Tool - Protocol 2.0
Usage: java -jar FitCSVTool.jar <options> <file>
-b <FIT FILE> <CSV FILE> FIT binary to CSV.
-c <CSV FILE> <FIT FILE> CSV to FIT binary.
