BLE scanning

Is there a feature where the Garmin Fenix 6 can detect another Fenix 6 using BLE? I was looking through the BLE API and was able to find how to scan for BLE devices, but not how to broadcast BLE for other devices to see.

You can scan for devices that are advertising, but you can't advertise with CIQ BLE. It's mainly intended to connect to BLE sensors and not have a watch act as one..

Okay, thank you! What about with ANT? is there any way to detect the presence of another Fenix 6 using ANT API?

I've not done much with ANT, but something would need to be running on both devices to fire up the ANT radio, and I'm not sure you can so something like this in CIQ. Many devices have the means to broadcast HR data over ANT, and to the other device they look like a HRM, but the broadcast part is done in the firmware.
