So I got a nonsensical ERA report, and went to the Garmin forum to try to find current firmware, but the GPSMap forum doesn't have a sticky on firmware so I can't work out whether or not I need to worry. That said... I did find a thread that seems to talk about the 5.80 firmware less than a month ago, so...

The line is a seemingly innocuous Boolean check... so shouldn't result in an exception unless something has gone badly wrong.
