Displaying date?

I’m not understanding how one can display the date on the Vivoactive 4S? Seems hard to believe you cannot, but I have tried everything via the widgets and app to display the month and day, and there is no settings I see to make this reality. Am I missing something?

Unfortunately I’m not seeing these options either on the device itself or via the app.

That's the code to display the data in CIQ. Are you asking about just displaying the date on a native watchface?

When you select a native watch face, there's an option to change what data is displayed.

Yes just on the face. With all the various options for display just using the watch itself, there’s no way to display the date without using the app? I do have the CIQ app, but am not seeing the options. I see “appearances” and then “watch face”. When I click on that, it just shows a character jogging.

For native watchfaces, the option is on the watch itself. Press the lower right button, and you'll see a menu with "watch face". Tap on that, select a watch face, then the pencil at the bottom, and you'll see another menu with "data". Then tap on the field you want to change and you can swipe up/down to select what you want to see.
