The gist is that Garmin owns the SDK, the Developer Program, Program Materials, and the website. You are licensed to use them. You own your application, and license Garmin to use and distribute it.
Your application source code is your IP, and you can do whatever you want with it, provided it doesn't violate those terms (or terms of any other agreement you may enter into).
