Entering Settings for Float Properties on Connect IQ App

When entering settings for a Float via the settings button in Connect IQ (Android), if you accidentally delete the decimal point there is no way to get it back, other than cancel the changes and go back in again. Pressing any of the keys on the number keypad that is presented has no effect.

Bug or specific problem with Android or my phone?

Also a minor gripe is that the number is always displayed to 6 decimal places, which looks poor.

I understand this is what a Float is I am just saying you don't see 7.5 displayed as 7.500000 in most user interfaces. It jars.

As far as the 6 decimal points, that's what you'll see with a float, A float is stored as a 32 bit value, so not only does it have limited precision, not all values can not be displayed. You may enter one, and what you see in your code isn't exactly the same.

Take this for example:

var f=123.456789;
Sys.println(f.toString());

The output is: 123.456787
