Connect IQ Device Simulator & Connect IQ Store

Hello,

I have had my first Watch Face and I have a problem. When I did the project "date" appears as follows: "Fri 10 Apr" in Connect IQ Device Simulator.

Later, I upload de project at Connect IQ Store (Beta), I download Watch Face en my Garmin Vivoactive 3 and now "date" appears as follows "F 10 A".

On simulator the result was correct but on my watch changed it.

Can you help me?

Post the code where you obtain the date and display it, including the layout if you use one.

The problem is the font you are using.

FONT_NUMBER_MILD is a number font, and not all characters are available. In this case "A" is (for "Am/Pm"). Switch to FONT_MEDIUM or something, which supports all characters.

That´s right. It´s resolved.

Only one question, why don´t the simulator show the problem?

I suspect it's that what non-number characters are available varies by device. The key is if a font has NUMBER in it's name it will be limited.

From the API guide:

FONT_NUMBER_MILD = 5

Normal size number only Connect IQ font
