MacOS: how to send my developed watch face from eclipse to my device without uploading to store?

On the E-Book https://developer.garmin.com/connect-iq/get-the-ebook/ says that when you connect your device via USB it should be mount as a drive but it doesn't for me.

I have a vivoactive 4, latest osx (Catalina 10.15.3)

With music devices and MTP, it's a bit different on macs these days.

You need to use something like Android File Transfer to copy a file from a mac to a device with an MTP :

I don't have an Android device, only an iPhone 11. Is it possible with this setup?

The android file transfer app gets installed on the mac and allows it to access MTP devices.

It's the same way you access an android phone from a mac.
