Icon resolution information

You can use the icon sets yourself made to your size. They are made in the form of a custom font. The color is assigned when they are displayed on the screen.

look in your SDK, in /bin/devices.xml

It should cover any model the SDK supports. Icon size, colors and more

They should really add the icon size to this now they have most other info: /connect-iq/compatible-devices/

devices.xml doesn't exist anymore; it's been replaced by the "devices library" (or whatever you want to call it) which has a separate directory for each device. The most interesting files in each directory are compiler.json and simulator.json.

The location is:

[CIQ installation path]/Devices

On Windows, CIQ installation path is:

%appdata%\Garmin\ConnectIQ

(\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\ConnectIQ)

On macOS:

~/Library/Application Support/Garmin/ConnectIQ

(/Users/[username]/Application Support/Garmin/ConnectIQ)

For example:

.../ConnectIQ/Devices/fr955/compiler.json contains the following information:

    "launcherIcon": {
        "height": 40,
        "width": 40
    },

You could open up Devices in VS Code and search for all instances of launcherIcon.

Or you could write a jq script to parse all the device compiler.json files and agggregate the data into a single JSON file.
