"sdk 3.1.7 - Build for device" app failed to start on real device.

My device is Foreunner 645 and the app is newly created Watch face project without edited (using v3.1.7).

it works fine on simulator and also works on real device when using sdk v 3.1.6.

i have no idea what's the different between 3.1.6 and 3.1.7.

i think there is a newer firmware for this device. not sure if that is the issue

This seems to be an APAC variant, as the ROW 645 has CIO 3.1.6 and 6.50 main FW

right you are. so looking in devices.xml, it indicates support for SDK 3.1.1 for that part #. However the error looks like it is trying to run 3.1.7.

The build for device wizard assumes ROW. It "might" be possible to build a .iq and pull the .prg for the APAC PN out of that, but I've never tried that.

Another option is to upload it to the store as a beta app and install from there.

Thank you both for help, My device is APAC like you both expected. so i'm going to upload as a beta for testing.
