Can apps override the built-in charging screen?

Hi,

On my 920XT, for any normal activity in progress, if I start charging it, this auto-stops the activity and displays the charging screen.
For Connect IQ apps, is it possible to continue to work and display the app itself/have access to sensors, even if the device is plugged into the charger?

It's a function of the device itself. For example, with a vivoactive, you can set the USB mode to "Garmin" and charge while it's in use.

The new forerunners (23x and 630), you just have to connect the charging cable to something that isn't a PC. Like a cell phone battery charger.

Unless there is a way to allow charging while in use on the 920 with a FW setting, it's in the FW's control and you can't run anything while charging.
