Fenix 5x plus face resolution

Greetings all. I’m a proud new owner. Everything is perfect on this watch. But for the price, I’d like to be able to read the face without feeling like my wallet made a foolish purchase. The watch looks like a joke when I swap out certain different faces.

i have to say that I searched and searched for a feature-rich watch but Im seriously considering returning it because of the screen resolution and lacking color options.

So is there some trick to finding watch faces for the Fenix 5x to get better screen resolution? What are the best places to shop fir watch faces? Or is there a better watch that has better face resolution?? I’d appreciate any insights.

The picture is fuzzy and not the watch itself, correct? The picture looks out of focus to me.

Yes the photo is oof. Here’s a better photo. But compared to the store photo, this looks like my child’s watch. Colors are dull and screen is just not crisp.

the priority for the fenix range is long battery life which this screen type provides. if you prefer the smartwatch look you could go for the venu.

Hello Disappointed Steven! There is a few faces which do a bit of extra work to try to get the best graphics out of those screens. You can search for the word “anti-aliased” or try a few of my faces: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/developer/53b3adeb-a395-47c6-98b4-80c391c83d3c/apps

The venu also hase a nice screen but the feel or battery of the watch is nowhere close to the fenix series!

Greetings PlayItLoad, thanks for the insight. I checked out your work and looks nice. For the GEOSPHERE via Garmin Connect, I download to the app, but It won’t install. No error, plenty of free install space, acts like its installing, but the face doesn’t appear in the installed folder. Please advise?

Hi, may be just try to reboot your device and Phone.

If you have the iq logo, try to install the last fw.
