TextArea.setFont is it ok ?

I want use textArea on a watchface. and i want to use change font to use my font. but i have an error at compilation :

Error: Unhandled Exception
Exception: UnexpectedTypeException: Unexpected font type, expected Number or Array

246 : AgendaTextArea.setFont(FONT_libPerso);
247 : AgendaTextArea.draw(dc);

in onLayout i declare :

FONT_libPerso = WatchUi.loadResource(Rez.Fonts.FONT_personnelle);

in onShow i declare :evtAgendaTextArea = new WatchUi.TextArea({
            :text=>"",
            :color=>Graphics.COLOR_BLACK,
            :font=>Graphics.FONT_SYSTEM_XTINY,
            :locX =>36,
            :locY=>132,
            :width=>170,
            :height=>78
        });

when i mask line 246, application is ok.

Can you help me : can you say to me what is the problem ?

What is FONT_libPerso at line 246? Is it a custom font resource?

I'm guessing that the implementation of TextArea.setFont() is not properly checking for the font resource type. It should handle a built-in font id, a font resource, or an array thereof..

Yes, FONT_libPerso is a custom font ressource.

is it possible to use custom font in TextArea ? How can do that ?

You *should* be able to use a font resource, but it sounds like you can't because of the bug that you're pointing out. If the setFont method doesn't work, then you're kinda stuck for the time being.

This bug seems to still be an issue -- is there a way around it to get a custom font into a textArea?

For now, you need to use a native font, or do things yourself with direct dc call.
