I have the most recent firmware (i.e. i update it every time it says to), i install it by copying the file in the device's app folder (as said in the link i copied)
I have seen something similar long ago, it could be that there is a conflict with another app using same id? Try remove all other apps and load the app in question onto device again. Or if this app uses object store or settings, there could be corrupt data. Delete all from Data and Settings folder and try again.
