Dear All,
I wonder if someone could help me. I would like to write a datafield that gives the cumulative distance and time run over the multiple runs (i.e. per day, week, month). Is it possible to read the History log within a datafield - or even an app? I train by running an approximate intensity each day - it would be nice to see when I have hit my target so that I can ease-up for the rest of the run to save my 'body' for the next day.
I have already written an 'efficiency' datafield (heart beats per km - with an offset correction for 'resting' heart rate. I need that for testing a few running technique modifications that might impact efficiency. I have just side-loaded it to my vivoactive and will test it tomorrow. Once I get the 'configuration' routine figured out I will share it.
I also want to write a datafield that provides the difference between a pre-defined ideal heart rate tragectory and average heart rate to enable me to pace hilly and windy marathons better. It should allow me to compensate for periods of higher or lower heart rates than were planned. In particular I could scale the higher heart rate periods to represent the likely higher carbohydrate consumption that occurs at greater efforts.
Greetings,
Christof
