  • The manual on page 8 indicates the following steps should be followed:

    Customizing the Data Screens

You can customize data screens based on your training goals or
optional accessories. For example, you can customize one of
the data screens to display your lap pace or heart rate zone.

1 Select Menu > Activity Settings > Data Screens.
2 Select a screen. Some screens can only be turned on or off.
3 If necessary, edit the number of data fields.
4 Select a data field to change it

  • I appreciate your reply. I guess I wasn't clear with my question. I know how to customize data screens, my
problem is after downloading the BETA data screen from IQ I can't seem to locate it on the watch. Help, thanks.
  • if you're looking for it so you can delete it, you can do that with GCM or GE, by just "uninstalling" it.

If you're looking for the .prg file, it's in \garmin\apps on the device, but it's got a name generated by the app store, so it might not be obvious which .prg is which (you can use date/size to take a guess)
  • These are the steps on my fr230.
Should be exactly same for 235

    1) Assuming you are on the clock / watchface

    2) Press the white button (Runner icon) to go out of wathface to menu.

    3) Select the activity for which you would like to use this datafield and press the white button again.

    4) Press the down button to go into menu / settings for the chosen activity.

    5) You should see "Activity Settings" menu item. Select it with white button.

    6) Select "Data Screens"

    7) Select either "Screen 1" or "Screen 2"

    8) Select "Layout"

    9) Using up or down button, select the layout that displays only 1 field.

    10) Select "Field 1"

    11) Then under "Connect IQ", you will find "Single Run Field v2". Select it.

    12) You can now return all the way back to the activity and start it.

If you chose "Screen 1", you will see this datafield straight away. If you chose "Screen 2", use your up and down buttons to navigate between Screen 1 and 2.

Let me know if you don't manage.
