problem:
we have user connecting their garmin and no data of their activities are showing.
in our registration process, we allow user to connect his/her garmin before he/she fully registers on our platform, as a result we think the issue could be from there:
after debugging we found out the error "Guard authentication failed” because garmin push activity before tour user account creation
You can see 2 images above gamin call to our API to push activities on 02:01:46 but in our db created time of user is 02:05:58. I guess Garmin push activity when user connect it in pre-register flow but once the account on our platform is registered, we don’t get the push of activities so no data are showing on the user profile
any clue?
the only way to solve it is to ask the user to unlink its garmin, go to garmin settings, disconnect it from there and reconnect on the app. Obviously not the way to handle users:-(
thanks in advance as it has been over a month that I reached garmin api support and no one is responding
