The simulator always shows the menubar on the Edge 820/830/1000/1030 in CIQ3.1.4

I try to test one of my apps (datafield) in the simulator in CIQ 3.1.4. The field uses the entiry screen but since CIQ 3.1.x the lower part of the screen is covered by a menu bar.

How do I switch it off? I can't find out how to get rid of it. I did not have this problem in CIQ 3.0.x.

This is already a known issue with the simulator that was introduced with the 3.1.x SDK. It has been filed as WERETECH-7402, and I've already got a patch for it. Hopefully it will make it into the next SDK.

I guess it didn't make it to 3.1.5, hopefully in 3.1.6. Fortunately I found a backup of a 3.0 environment so I can test the screen layout there :-)
