Page control not allowed in current app type (or mode) - Data Field

While editing source code, suddenly I get this error for the Fenix 6x pro when I run the Garmin simulator (from within Eclipse)

"Error: Unhandled Exception
Exception: Page control not allowed in current app type (or mode) - Data Field"

The simulator just shows a white screen.

Has someone an idea what this means?

I have the impression that it is somehow related to the monkey.jungle file. At first I had only sources defined for the new Fenix watches, while the others also had resources defined. Then I got the same error. That was fixed after I defined resources also.

The other watches can be simulated just fine. It is just the Fenix 6x pro that was doing fine as well in the simulator, until suddenly the error came up

I've seen this once, and what it turned out to be is I was doing a Ui.requestUpdate() in the DF.

Well, it turned out to be a typing error, where I tried to draw something on the 192th pixel from left, but had accidently typed in 1923. That was way out of the 280x280 pixels available for the Fenix 6x pro.

The error message wasn't very helpful in this case....

That shouldnt cause an error you should be able to have points outside the viewport

I had this yesterday and it turned out to be a divide by zero issue. not helpful to say the least

This comes up because your data field app is crashing. When the your app crashes the simulator tries to display the crash icon page, and it is failing to do so because data field apps aren't allowed to push new views).

This is a really bad because it is hiding the error that your code is generating. We realize this and we are working to fix it already.
