How to access hydration data in the connect app from a watchface?

I noticed that we can now log hydration in the connect app. Is there a way to access that data to include it in a watchface? I am working on a legend of zelda themed face and was looking for a third thing to be a daily goal and hydration seems like a real good one. The data exists in the connect app, I just need some way of getting to it. Thanks!

This is not available in Connect IQ.

Do you know if there is a plan for it to get into Connect IQ?

My guess is not in the near term, but one of the Garmin folks would know for sure.

Just wanted to bump this, as I'm getting lots of user request for this as well. Having access to hydration info would be very nice.

The hydration widget was written in CIQ, and there is no way that one CIQ app can access another CIQ App's data.

But it is available in the Garmin Connect app, so I guess there could be one way. Maybe through the Health API? But it's also not available in there at the moment. Anyway, feels wrong to creating something especially for this of my own to show it in a watchface.

Only if other developers would like to use shared data from a new custom hydration widget with an open API? We could collaborate on the widget and use the data in multiple watchfaces across several developers.
