Watch Face Feature Requests

Here are a few things I would like available for Watch Face app types:

1. Access to Communications. (I would like to be able to display the weather - I would only want to fire this every 30-60 minutes)
2. A timer to display seconds, update steps more frequently etc.
3. API that can check Bluetooth status.

If you want to make a glanceable connected watch face what you really want to make is a widget. The idea behind widgets is that they would be easily accessible from the watch face screen. Because watch faces run in low power mode they are more limited than Widgets, which affects one second updates as well. We're investigating a balanced approach to this problem.

We plan on adding bluetooth status.

One more thing: the default watch face know what profile was last selected. Could this be made available to Connectiq watch faces?
