Developer key is not set

Trying to run the generated project, I get the following error: Error:Monkey C: Developer Key is not set. Go to Settings; Build; Connect IQ Of course, I did set a developer key in the settings. Tried both the DER and the DEM file, but the error remains. I am using openssl 1.1.1, Connect IQ SDK 3.0.12, IDEA 2019.1, Connect IQ plugin version 0.3.8. and Linux Mint.

When you generated the developer key, did you follow the directions in the Programmer's Guide here? The instructions indicate that you should reference the .DER file. Have you tried generating a developer key from Window > Preferences > ConnectIQ > Compiler page?

Is there anything else wonky about the path to the .DER file? Maybe spaces in the path? I ask because we occasionally see bugs related to spaces in paths.
