When I downloaded the Connect IQ app, after successfully pairing and setting up my new Garmin with my phone through the Connect app, I was unable to download any apps onto my watch. It was like no device was connected to my phone and the only options I could click on was "Garmin Support" and "Shop Garmin.com."
I talked with a Garmin Support member through the online chat and they claimed that it has to be a problem with my phone, not the watch, which frankly I just don't believe.
If anyone has had this problem or knows how to solve it, please let me know as I am very frustrated that I just bought a $800 watch that currently can only have the features of Garmin's $300 watches.
As of right now, I would not recommend people to buy this watch, based on my experience with it.
