Newbie question: how to preview my uploaded app?

According to the document: After you upload your app successfully, we will review it. You will be able to preview your app and download it yourself for testing.
I can't find any menu or interface to check my app in Garmin app store: https://apps.garmin.com/, how to preview or download my app before approval?

Have you tested it by just side loading it? (you do this during development and before sending it to the app store).

From eclipse, in the Connect IQ menu, "Build for device", and specify the path "x:\garmin\apps" where "x:" is the device for your device when in the charging cable.

Thanks for the tips, I didn't find the "Build for device" menu but I have tested it on my Fenix 3 by coping PRG to Garmin\Apps folder.
I am just curious that there is no web interface to check or change the status of uploaded apps, developers are blind after uploading files. Weird, so I doubt that if I miss anything.
  • Once you've submitted an app for approval to the store, you can view it by clicking on the Uploaded Apps link in the upper right on the store site. This will give you a listing of all your apps. Clicking on an app will display the app details page, which looks just like what a customer would see with the addition of some management buttons that allow you to update, edit, or remove your app.

You'll also be able to download your app via Garmin Express, just like a customer would, even if the app hasn't yet been approved by the team.
  • Thanks for the screenshot, Brandon.
I guess I didn't see the management buttons because I failed to submit my app but didn't get any message.
After submitting again, now I can see the author functions. Thanks.
