Get Weather

I'll attach a zip of the vsbgwf project. It's not the exact same one I used when I did the thread, but close.

To do comm, you get things going based on "onTemporalEvent() in the background. - Set up and do the makeWebRequest().  Then in the callback for that, you return the data and/or status.  what I do is return the dictionary of data if the status of the call is 200, otherwise, I return the status. using Background.exit().  Then in AppBase, in onBackgroundData(), I do a "instanceof Number" to see if it's an error status or data.

For the makWebRequest I'll do something like this (using Open Weather Map in this case)

f3 doesn't support background processes...  The sample watchface show how to check for that ability.

hye, so I followed your blog, for the check etc

if I launch it on sim and wait for 5min (the temp i set) nothing happens...

if I simulate bg event the magic happens...

so, what is wrong?

it seems that the problem is the temporalEvent doesn't want to be trigger on cause if I force it, it works...

put in some println calls for various things, like when you registerForTemperalEvents, and in the background in something like onTemporalEvent and when you do the Bg.exit() just to make sure things are happening when they should.
