Connect IQ builds

Maybe a silly quistion which could have been read somewhere. But I ask anyway. When I have a build from the Eclipse IDE and have a .iq file. Can I somehow try this out in my GARMIN Fenix3 - or do I only have the simulator to test it on - before sending it through the release "gate" at GARMIN?

Can I somehow try to debug the code in my own unit?

See the Monkey C Programer's guide, page 16, for "side loading" to a device.

Basically, what you do is put your .prg file on to your device, in the \garmin\apps directory on the device with the device in the charging cradle.

In fact I had already read that. But I didn't realize that the shown E:\ drive was the Garmin unit itself. Maybe this should have been mentioned a little more comprehensive
