I am trying to update a data field to use larger fonts. Everything works/looks good with the numbers using the Gfx.FONT_NUMBER_X groupings. The issue is one of the elements is a alpha-character representation of direction (N, NE, E, SE, etc) and the best I can do natively is Gfx.FONT_LARGE which just isn't large enough. Is this really the application of custom fonts you want developers to use? It would be really great to see the number font sets expanded to include alpha-characters. How is everyone else doing this? I can understand on a widget or app using custom fonts.
** SIDE NOTE **
If you are going to produce a Mac and Windows development environment, there should be a tool available for both platforms that Garmin recommends to generate the custom fonts.
