Happy Holidays from the Connect IQ team! As many of you now know because you check your email, we put out Connect IQ preview 2 last Friday. Since CIQ was launched back in September, we've been adding new features and getting feedback from the forum as well as a few hackathons in the Midwest.
Preview 2 has a number of new API additions including access to Vibe and Tone, Activity Tracking, and new dialogs. We're also trying to keep improving Monkey C, with the biggest addition being try/catch/throw/finally additions. There are also a number of bug fixes and improvements to the tool chain. I'm really happy with the new additions, though I know we have a lot left to add and improve.
We're watching the forums for your feedback for improvements. Back in October when I wrote the welcome to the forum post, I only hoped the forum would be as active and vibrant as it has become. We'll be depending on all of you for the weeks and months ahead to let us know what we're doing right and wrong.
The next few months will be an exciting time for Connect IQ. The new products are exciting and I look forward to you getting to see them.
