Simulator crashing frequently?

I don't know if I've missed something in the upgrade to the new release, but my simulator is crashing very frequently (every few minutes, forcing me to restart the simulator). This is on Windows 7 - anyone else seeing it?

I can provide the crash reports if that will be helpful, or try and get it reproducible?

Although this particular crash isn't a problem, it's an example of one of the crashes and is the easiest to reproduce:

1. Open the simulator, without an app
2. Close the simulator by clicking the 'x' to close the window, or via the menu File->Quit
3. Wait a couple of seconds for the crash dialogue to appear:

Yes. Mine crashes occasionally on use, and literally every time I close it.

I'm getting the same crash (exact same crash dialogue) after 8-10 JSON fetches by my widget, 100% of the time. My test HTTP request and JSON response isn't changing, so I know it isn't invalid JSON that is the problem.

Instant simulator crash if server response to JSON request is a 404 error. 100% repeatable. Same as above, but:

Exception Offset: 000244fc

Are all of these crashes on Windows or is the Mac simulator crashing as well? I mainly use a Mac and haven't been running into these issues. I'll get a report filed on the issues above and we'll get it fixed.

Instant simulator crash if server response to JSON request is a 404 error. 100% repeatable. Same as above, but:

Exception Offset: 000244fc

Just to follow up on this, the simulator crashes instantly 100% repeatable if the server response isn't JSON. e.g., if the web server responds

- 200 ok with no content (or any http response code. e.g., 404 not found, etc)
- content of "OK"
- Content-Type: application/json; charset=utf-8 but no content

for my app which is using this call to push some data to the web server, my workaround is to return content of json_encode("OK").
