app title justification on VA

In the post above, there is user tht showed the app selection icon on the VA. based on the screenshot, it seems that the title is left/right justified vs the icon.

What can be done to get it centered justification? Is it even possible to do it in the XML file? I don't see or note any examples that shows that I can justify it.

Need to get a clue.

What I've seen on the va as far as the app icon, is that the icon itself is left justified, and the way to fix it is to make the icon the same width as the max (61 pix ). The App name seems to be centered ok if the icon is the max width, with the name being truncated if it's too long (it seems to fit 10 characters.

I saw you also asked about the lap button on the va. If you set the standard running/walking apps to allow manual lap, it's the soft back button on the screen. Having only three buttons on the va is a bit of a challenge - What I've done is make a button multi-state. For example, with the real "start" (enter) button, the first press pauses the recording, and a 2nd press ends pause and locks the other buttons so they can't be hit by mistake, and a 3rd press takes everything back to normal.

update: Oh, I just found the screen shot. That does look weird, and not what I see with apps on the VA. For me, the titles are centered just fine. Do you know what version of FW the user has?

Are there extra spaces in the .xml file with the app name?

I just tried adding trailing spaces as part of the app name in the xml file and it does shift the name. I'd check that in your app.
