Is there a way to lunch the watch app from iOS App automatically?

Is there a way to launch the watch app from iOS App automatically?
i.e if my iOS app is sending messages to the watch app, how can the watch app launched by itself once the message is received from the iOS app?
Till now we manually launch the watch app before we started the iOSApp.

Watch Apps can only be launched from the watch itself.

Will this be changed in the future? Another good function would be to start a phone application from the watch. This would make the handling of companion apps easier to the user.
