Settings with Connect Mobile & access to Connect account.

Perhaps should really have been 2 topics. Too late :)

Firstly: IQ settings and Connect Mobile App (herein CM). Is there any plan, or would it even be a good idea or not, to enable users to add functionality to CM for settings in an IQ app. I'm thinking along the lines of an xml file on the smartphone etc that CM can read and then create simple menu items with a selection list. Potentially saves developers having to create a lot of apps, for Android & iOS, to support their apps.

Secondly: Access to user account. For those of us that it's simply not economical to purchase the $5000 Connect license, will there be any data access to the user account? I would think this could be implemented through CM, or maybe JSON to Garmin Connect?

    Something that didn't make this iteration is a way to expose configuration settings via Garmin Connect Mobile. These will not cloud sync (your app settings will remain on the device), but they will allow the app user to configure settings on the smart phone.

    My answer is that people should contact the Developer Program with such requests. My team can add a byte code interpreter to a low resource wearable product, but we don't control those decisions.
