get Unit ID

Is it possible to get the unit id with system class or whatever?

what a pity!

I would achieve a sort of synchronization with server side data but avoiding the user to input a user id in the limited watch user interface.

How can I let the server recognize the request coming from every single watch?
Any idea or experience?

We are still discussing making a unique ID available in the API. The main concern at this point is privacy--if the unit ID were available, apps could report those apps, along with other information, back to a server for tracking purposes. I'm not sure how it will shake out, but it's definitely something we're still considering.

personally I would let the user choose with an <iq:permissions> item in the manifest.xml.
