Watch Face Version (Or apps or widgits) Update

I have and really like the white with Arcs watch face, but always wondered how I would know what version I have, or if it is updating automatically - how do I know? When would it update? By WiFi when I was uploading an activity maybe?

The Garmin Connect Mobile app can update watch faces for you:

Open the App, then:

Devices >> fenix 3 >> Connect IQ Apps >> Watch Faces

Then select the installed watch face that you want to check. If a version update is available, then the Update button will be visible. Press Update and your smartphone will send the latest version to the Fenix 3 via Bluetooth.

This works well from my iPhone 6. I can't comment on other phones though.
