It would be helpful if there was a method for a user to mark apps/data fields/watch faces/widgets in Connect IQ as "hidden" so that they no longer appear to that user. I like to see what new items are available and don't mind monitoring some of the older ones for changes. However visiting the Connect IQ site is quickly losing its charm as I continually have to parse through a lot of the same items that I have seen many times already. Thanks in advance!
Our app store team is adding enhancements to the store to allow users to list the newest additions and to sort by release date (plus some other nice changes), so hopefully that will help move things in the right direction for you. I don't know that we would provide a hiding function, but we will improve our sorting and search capabilities.
I don't know what the app store teams schedule is, but we did recently add a "New and Updated Apps" section that should partially address your concerns.
