Approval status request: Ege Word Location pending since October 11

Hello Connect IQ team,

Could you please check the approval status of my new watch face, Ege Word Location?

The latest binary, version 1.0.2 (internal version 3), was submitted on October 11, 2026. On October 16 it still shows “App pending”, with a notice that approval may take up to three days.

App link: apps.garmin.com/.../f8d35ef5-9461-4a04-b155-c71b7b61e75a
Manifest App ID: 71ce4784bf876991c1d12677a6631fb0
Developer name in the store: cakmak

The package and signature were both shown as Verified during upload. No rejection reason or required action is displayed in the dashboard. On October 14 I updated only the listing description; no new binary was uploaded.

I contacted Garmin Developer Program Support, and they directed me to the Connect IQ forum for this inquiry.

Could the store review team please confirm whether this is still in the review queue, whether anything is blocking approval, and whether any additional information or a test activation code is needed?

Thank you for your help.
Mustafa

  • Hello Connect IQ team,

Following up on October 20, 2026. The developer dashboard still shows Ege Word Location as Pending, nine calendar days after version 1.0.2 (internal 3) was submitted on October 11. This is a non-beta submission.

    App: apps.garmin.com/.../f8d35ef5-9461-4a04-b155-c71b7b61e75a
    Developer: cakmak

TerraMark, submitted on October 15 under the same developer account, also remains Pending:

Thank you for moving this thread to Connect IQ Store Discussion. I have read Brandon.ConnectIQ’s explanation about the unusually high submission volume and understand that reviews are taking longer.

Could you please confirm whether these submissions are in the review queue and whether either requires any action from me, such as additional information or an activation code for testing? The dashboard displays no rejection reason or request for changes. Even a brief confirmation would help me plan the release.

Thank you for your time and help.

  • Would you rater Brandon read all the posts here and reply, or approve apps as fast as he can?

  • I would prefer for them to clean and improve the requirements for uploading new apps!

maybe a little protection for their community?

it’s crazy to allows accounts that want to release 9 apps in a day!

  • No, but since we are speculating on what Brandon may be doing, perhaps he could write a small script to sort pending requests by number of submissions per user, ticking off one from each user before doing repeats from any user - pretty radical suggestion I know.

  • I don’t know the internal process to approve an app, so I will not gonna give advice on what they should do as the world is full of options but no real solutions.

you proposed solution, is totally unacceptable IMO, and they should come with clear steps and instructions to protect their customers and devs against this garbage produced by fake spam accounts!
I just check an account now, first watchface released at end of August and now has hundreds of apps, many in 13 October while I am waiting since 9 October for a review! In my own opinion these accounts should have been banned!

  • And I'm waiting since 2nd October for a single app.

But sure, this is clearly a mess on many levels and needs proper sorting, but I was half sarcastically suggesting a crude fix in the absence of anything from Garmin that makes sense.

From 3 days to three weeks and counting.  It would be simple to detect multiple AI watchface spammers, we are developers from many backgrounds and know this.  Brandon's message is not plausible - something larger is going on in Garminland; Connect Developer Program - Stopped, Garmin Connect API access - Stopped, Merchant account resets, Connect IQ store mostly AI slop with ineffective search.  the5krunner.com/.../garmin-developer-api-access-paused seems more plausible to me than anything on this forum.

As a side comment if I contact Google about Play Store issues I get a reply - maybe takes a few days and iterations to sort but they do reply from an actual person - not from Garmin.
