Reasons for an IQ Store app to be rejected after review

Hello everyone,

I uploaded a new widget I made on the Connect IQ Store 2 days ago, and I just saw it has been rejected. However, I can't find the reasons for this and even after reading again the "App Review Guidelines" I can't figure out what was wrong about my widget. FYI, it's a widget which generates QR codes from the watch to control GoPro cameras.

Anyone knows where can I find more information about why my app was rejected ?

I read this already but I don't think my app fits any of the exceptions described

Did you try changing the app type and that caused the error?

Do you mean Activity > Widget for example ? No I didn't.

I mean changing this from a device app to a widget for example.

Why would that have any effect on whether the app is approved or not?

If it was approved as a device app but then changed to a widget, I can see that being a cause for rejection

I did change the app type during development from device app to widget, but I never uploaded it as an app device on the CIQ Store so I don't think it can be the reason why the widget was rejected.

Do you think uploading a new version of the app while it's still in the reviewing state could be the cause?

I often do that with no issue.

Could it have to do with the name of your app? Same name as someone else's app, a word that doesn't translate well, a symbol/icon?
